The Ubiquiti Instant 802.3af Outdoor Adapter lets you transform any POE Device into a fully 48V 802.3af compliant product instantly. This add-on units accepts a 48v 802.11.af compliant power supply as provided by POE switches and drops the 48v to the 16v to operate Ubiquiti units.

An ethernet socket is provided at the base of the unit for the incoming ethernet cable, which is connected to the switch carrying the data and 48v supply. The data and power is then passed to the Ubiquiti unit eliminating separate power supplies and power over ethernet injectors.
